Dotworks and the internal tools it links to (including the Alakazam inventory system and the Noctrowl bookkeeping system) are private business tools used only by the owner and authorised staff of this business. They are not offered to the public.
Google account data. Alakazam connects to the business's own Google Drive using Google's drive.file permission, which only allows access to files Alakazam itself creates. It uses this solely to store backups of its own inventory data (database backups, product photos, and CSV exports) in a folder in the business's Drive. It does not read, list, or modify any other files in that Drive, and does not access email, contacts, or any other Google data.
Use and sharing. This data is used only to operate and back up the business's inventory records. It is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
Storage and security. Inventory data is stored on the business's own server and in its own Google Drive. Access to the tools requires logging in through Dotworks.
Removal. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's security settings (Third-party access), and backup files can be deleted from Google Drive directly.
